Duilin was a Man, the son of Duinhir from the Blackroot Vale in southern Gondor.
He marched
with Duinhir to
help defend Minas Tirith in the War of the Ring. Duilin and his
brother,
Derufin,
were trampled to death by a mûmakil while leading bowmen
close
enough to shoot at the eyes of the gigantic beasts in the Battle of
Pelennor
Fields.
